How to Use the Eyelet Blooms Die Video

This How to Use the Eyelet Blooms Die Video will show you how to remove your cardstock from the Die easily. We use the Balloon to make a Birthday Card.

This Video is 9 minutes long.

SUPPLIES:

Cardstock: Coastal cardstock
Lemon Lolly cardstock
Basic White cardstock
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Eyelet Blooms Die
Balloon Festoon Dies (part of a Bundle)
Words & Wishes Dies (part of a Bundle)
Embellishments: 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies
Tools: Take Your Pick Tool
Take Your Pick Tool Die Brush Tip
Other: Wax Paper
Adhesive: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
(Optional) Adhesive Sheets

How to Use the Eyelet Blooms Die

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Cut Your Papers:

~Lemon Lolly Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Coastal Cabana for Balloon: 4-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
~Basic White for Word Layers: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
~Hydrangea Hue for Words: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.

2-Balloon:

~Use the 2nd largest Balloon Die to cut your Balloon from Coastal Cabana cardstock.
~Tear off some Wax Paper as shown in the video. Make it wider than I did: about 1-1/2″ wide.

Eyelet Blooms Die:
~Optional: Put an adhesive Sheet on the back of your Balloon cardstock.
~Lay your Die on your Cut & Emboss Machine with the cutting side up.
~Place your Balloon Die-Cut on your Die where you want it.
~Slip the Wax Paper under the cardstock. Make sure that part of the Wax Paper is hanging over the Die’s edge.
~Make sure the Die is at an angle so you don’t have to crank as hard.
~Die cut. I usually go forward, back, forward, back.

~Use your Take your Pick Tool with both the Die Brush Tip and the poky Paper Piercer tip.
~Run the brush over both the Balloon and the Die to remove the little bits.
~Use the Paper Piercer tip to finish removing the smallest bits.

3-Words:

~Cut three of each layer for thicker, more impressive Words.
~(Optional) Put Adhesive Sheets on the back of your cardstock before cutting.
~Cut three of the Word Layers from Basic White cardstock.
~Use the Hydrangea Hue cardstock to cut the actual words.
~Attach all the Basic White Layers together.
~Now, attach the Words to the Layers.
~Attach a Small Butterfly to dot your i.

4-Finish Your Card:

~Glue your Balloon to your Card Base.
~Lay out your Words where you want them.
~Attach your Words with either Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals.
~Add some Butterflies.
