INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
NOTE: I started out with a Cajun Craze Card Base, but accidentally glued the leaves on wrong… 🙁 So I cut off the card front and glued it to a Basic White card base. Here are the instructions for how I planned to make it.
~Cajun Craze Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Cajun Craze Card Front: 4″ x 5-1/4″.
~Basic White Card Insert: 4″ x 5=1/4″
2-Cut & Emboss:
~Die-cut one leaf from Petal Pink cardstock and the other from Calypso Coral cardstock.
~Put your Card Front inside your Embossing Folder with the pattern at the edge of your cardstock. Emboss.
~Flip your Card Front over to emboss the other half. Line up the pattern with the embossed half. The embossed half should be hanging out of the embossing folder. DO NOT overlap the part you already embossed. This will flatten it out.
~Emboss.
~Glue your Card Front onto your Card Base.
3-Finish Your Card:
~Draw lines between the dots on your Leaves to make the veins. It helps to draw the longer straight lines first, then draw the shorter veins.
~Arrange the Leaves how you want them on your Card Front.
~Glue on the top leaf.
~Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the lower leaf.
Your Colorful Faux Stitched Fall Leaves Card is finished.
