This Distress Hand Colored Butterfly Card uses a Butterfly that I colored earlier. The background is Two-Tone cardstock that is embossed and sanded.

Cardstock: Basic White cardstock
Lemon Lolly cardstock
Garden Green 12×12 Two-Tone cardstock (from Turtle-y Sweet variety pack)

Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder
Tool: Emery Board or other sanding tool
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Lemon Lolly Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Garden Green Two Tone Card Front: 4″ x 5-1/4″
2-Butterfly:
~Stamp your Large Butterfly with Blueberry Bushel ink on Basic White cardstock.
~Color the Butterfly Wings with your Markers. I tried to make the Wings the same on both sides.
~Cut out your Butterfly using the Outline Butterfly Die.
3-Garden Green Card Front:
~Decide the angle you want the lines to go on your Card Front.
~Place your Two-Tone cardstock inside your Embossing Folder at that angle.
~Emboss.
~Place your Two-Tone cardstock on a scratch paper to catch all the sanding dust.
~Use your Emery Board to sand the edges of the raised edges. I found it easier to put my fingertip towards the end of the Emery Board where I am sanding the cardstock.
~You will probably need to rotate your cardstock so you can sand both sides of the raised edges
4-Finish Your Card:
~Stamp your Words with Secret Sea ink on Basic White cardstock. Fussy cut out.
~Put Stampin’ Dimenssionals on the back of your Butterfly and Words.
~Lay your Butterfly and Words on your Garden Green Card Front the way you want.
~Glue your Card Front to your Card Base.
~Attach your Butterfly and Words with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Your Distress Hand Colored Butterfly Card is finished.
