This Video is almost 13 minutes long.

SUPPLIES:

Package: Book Treat Box
Cardstock: Unbounded Beauty 12×12 Designer Series Paper (DSP)
2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Stampin’ Dimensionals

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Prep Work:
~Fold all score lines with your Bone Folder.
~Cut your DSP Print at 4″ x 12″. Make sure the print will be the right direction. I cut the 4″ part just over the 4″ line.
~Glue your DSP Print onto your Book Cover. The Front is on the right side. And the Tab on the left side.
~Trim around the Tab. Make sure and keep your scissor blades straight.

2-Add Your Box:
~Fold all score lines. I like the “click” sound they make as you fold them all the way.
~Remove the Adhesive Backing from one end.
~Fold in the sides.
~Fold over the end while squeezing the sides close to the end.
~Finish folding the end and attach.
~Repeat with the other end.

3-Attach the Box:
~Remove the Adhesive Backing from inside the Book Cover.
~Place the open side of your box against the Front of your Book Cover and against the Book Side centering from top to bottom.
~Close your Book Cover to attach your Box.

The Book Treat Box in the picture above uses the Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper. The Scalloped Strip uses a die from the Hooray for Surprises Die Set.

4-Finish Your Box:
~Cut a 1/2″ x 4-1/3″ Strip of Glimmer Paper or cardstock.
~Lay it on your Box Front over the Tab.
~Put a Stampin’ Dimensional about 1/4″ on each side of the Tab. This will give it enough room for the Tab to easily slide through.
~Put Glue on each side of the strip on the end sides.
~Remove the Stampin’ Dimensionals backs.
~Attach about 1/2″ from the edge and over your Tab.
~Slide in your Tab.

You can now fill your Quick Spring Book Treat Box with some treats or a gift.
