Lillian’s Happiest of Birthdays Card uses a new set of dies. She requested the colors: light red (not pink), Teal, and yellow. Paste; but not TOO pastel. I hope she likes it!
SUPPLIES:
Stamps: Throughout the Year Stamps (Sorry. It is retired. Choose any stamp you want.)
Ink Pad: Poppy Parade ink pad
Cardstock: Poppy Parade cardstock
Coastal Cabana cardstock
Lemon Lolly cardstock
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Linked Together Dies (also part of a Bundle)
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Adhesive Sheet
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Lemon Lolly Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Coastal Cabana: 3″ x 4-1/4″
~Adhesive Sheet: 3″ x 4-1/4″. Attach to the back of your Coastal Cabana cardstock piece above.
2-Die Cuttings:
~Coastal Cabana + Adhesive Sheet: Linked Together Lattice die
~Flowers: Cut two sets from Poppy Parade cardstock
3-Finish Your Card:
~Lay out your pieces where you want them.
~Stamp your Words with Poppy Parade ink.
~Attach your Coastal Cabana Lattice by peeling off the Adhesive Sheet backing and putting on your Card Base.
~Glue on your Flowers.
~Add some Bling if you want. I am going to take some with me and let her add it herself!
LILLIAN’S ADDITIONS:
I took some of the Heart Sequins, Woven Golden Leaves (Last Chance List), Glue Dots, and some Rainbow Dots for her to use to finish decorating her card. She spent about 30 minutes playing around and decorating it. Her comment afterwards was that she had fun and was glad I was leaving some of the bling with her to use.
Card:
~Woven Golden Leaves attached with Glue Dots to form a Flower with Heart Sequins on each Flower Petal.
~Rainbow Gems on the center of each Flower Die Cut and three in the Center of the Golden Flower.
Envelope:
~Two Golden Leaves form a Heart.
~A Heart Sequin added inside the Heart I drew on the envelope.
