This Happy Birthday Cake Card is made with the August 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit. with a little embossing and some Marker lines.
SUPPLIES:
August 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit
Stampin’ Write Markers: Berry Burst Marker Brights Markers
Cardstock: Basic White cardstock
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Stampin’ Dimensionals
Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Gather Your Kit Pieces:
~Card Base with Cake
~White Banner die cut
~Three Cake Strip Die Cuts (Mine are all the same. Choose the ones you want.)
~Candle die cut
2-Cake:
~Fussy Cut out your Cake starting with the Plate along the right edge.
~Glue your Cake Strips onto your Cake so it is a three-layer Cake.
~Run your cut out Cake through your Machine with your Cake inside the Eyelet Embossing Folder.
Look closely to see the Eyelet Texture from the Embossing Folder.
3-Card Front:
~Cut a piece of 4″ x 5-1/4″ White cardstock to go behind your Card Base Front with the Cake Hole in it.
~Glue to the inside back of your Card Front. Line up the Plate line with the rest of the right side.
~Glue your Cake inside the hole you cut it from.
4-Stamping with Night of Navy ink:
~Happy Birthday on your White Banner die cut.
~Candle with the design of your choice
~If desired, draw lines around your Banner parts with your Stampin’ Write Marker.
5-Finish Your Card:
~Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of your Banner.
~Cut thin strips from the edge of your Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and put on the back of your Candle.
~Decide where you want them and attach.
Your Happy Birthday Cake Card is finished.
