Punch a Heart from Red Glimmer Paper and attach it with Dimensionals. 5. Tie the ribbon around the card over the Real Red Hearts. 6. Attach your Top Note die to your card base using Dimensionals. I was watching a video (which I cannot find now) and dreamed about making a Pirate that moved for my grandsons Valentines Day cards. It worked! I also decided to make a sliding Heart Valentine for my granddaughters. Hope you enjoy making these. If it is after Valentine’s Day you can choose any stamp you can cut out (punch out, die cut, or use scissors) to make it slide. The video is just over 20 minutes long.

INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Rose Red card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Pink Pirouette card front at 3-3/4″ x 5″. Use the Heart Embossing Folder, lining it up with the top edge and then the bottom edge so you have a strip of hearts along the top and bottom. Adhere to card base with Tombow Glue. 3. Cut a piece os Rose Red card stock at 2″ x about 4-1/4″. Punch the top with the Scallop Tag Topper. Thread your Silver Baker’s Twine through the punched hole. I used 4 pieces of about 6″ long Silver Baker’s Twine. Thread from the front to the back and pull the ends through the loop you made in the back. 4. Cut a 1-5/8″ x 2-3/4″ Whisper White card stock for your stamping. Stamp the desired Crazy Mixed Up Love image in Rose Red ink. Punch the top with the Scallop Oval Punch by inserting only the top of your card stock through the punch from the outside. Trim the bottom if necessary. Place in the desired position on your Rose Red Tag and adhere with either Tombow Glue or SNAIL. Put Dimensionals on the back of the tag and adhere to your card front at an angle. 5. Punch two Rose Red Small Hearts and adhere them with a Dimensional in the desired position. 6. If you want a fancy envelope then you can use the same Heart Embossing Folder to emboss your envelope flap. 7. Admire your cute Valentine’s Day Card.
This is a fun Valentine card to make using the limited edition Flowerful Heart Stamp and the Fresh Prints patterned paper from the Occasions 2014 Catalog! The Stamp is only available until January 27th or while supplies last.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Pink Pirouette card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Designer Series Paper into strips using your Paper Cutter. Make sure the leaf parts don’t show down the center of your cutting ruler before you cut. 3. Line up the Strips on your card front leaving spaces in between. No the spaces won’t be even because of the varied length of the strips. It doesn’t really matter. Adhere the Strips with SNAIL. Trim off the overhanging ends with scissors. 4. Stamp your Happy Valentine’s Day and Flowerfull Heart in Real Red ink on Whisper White card stock. 5. Cut out your Heart with the coordinating Heart Framelit. Cut the next larger Heart Framelit from Red Glimmer Paper. Layer the Hearts together with Dimensionals. 6. Punch out your Modern Label from Red Glimmer Paper. Now finally punch out your sentiment with the Word Window Punch. Adhere sentiment to Glimmer Paper with Tombow Glue. 7. Put Dimensionals on the back of the layered Hearts and the layered sentiment. Adhere in desired positions on card front. Add Basic Rhinestones to the center of the stamped flowers if desired. 8. Give to someone special for Valentine’s Day ! OR change the sentiment and use for a Wedding or Anniversary card.
Happy Valentine’s Day! Here is a My Digital Studio Valentine Card I made just for you. I used the Coloring Tool to color the images in the Heart. I used Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple. Make one today for your Family and Friends and wish them a Happy Valentine’s Day! You could also make this card with “Real Card Stock!”
1. When coloring in the Heart images I used Gumball Green for all the Leaf-Like images and Raspberry Ripple for the Flowers and Bird. I found it helpful to make the image a little larger with the Zoom function. I could then get the brush to color in the correct places without going into an area I wanted the other color. But, like my grandson says, you can’t color outside the lines. Well you can if you use the Free Form Brush, but that’s another project. 2. You could make this as a “Real Card Stock” Card if you colored the images on the stamp with your Markers. The Heart would be a little smaller. I would probably use an embossing folder for the background if I did this in “Real Card Stock” and ink.
I used the More Amore Designer Series Paper to make this fun Valentine card. I love the Laser Cut Hearts! I was planning on using the other side of the Designer Series Paper but accidentally put the SNAIL on the side I wanted in front. I do like it this way better. The hearts in the corner are punched using the Small Heart Punch. It was really quick and easy to make, even with the mistake. You can get quite a variety of looks just by changing the Designer Series Paper pattern and the color of the Laser Cut Heart.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Cherry Cobbler card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Designer Series Paper at 3-7/8″” x 5-1/4″. 3. Punch a Small Heart from your Post-it-Note making sure part of it is on the sticky part. Place your Post-it Heart in the desired position in the corner of your Designer Series Paper. Line up the Heart Punch with punched Post-it-Note and punch. Repeat with the other three corners. Now adhere your Punched Designer Series Paper to your card base. 4. Hold up the Laser Cut Hearts to your card front and choose the color you like best with the paper pattern you chose. Cut the desired color of Laser Cut Heart from the sheet. 5. Choose the sentiment you want and stamp it on your Laser Cut Heart with VersaMark. Now dump your White Embossing Powder on it. Remove the excess and put it back in the jar. Melt it with your Heat Tool. 6. Put Dimensionals on the back. One layer of Dimensionals wasn’t enough for me so I put another Dimensional on top of each of the first ones (Two story Dimensionals). Adhere to your card front. 7. Admire your fun Valentine Card.

My four-year-old grandson got really excited when he saw this Oh, Whale! stamp set in the catalog as I was looking through it in December trying to decide what to pre-order. (If you become a Demonstrator you can also order products from the NEW Catalogs a month before the general public can! Click the “Join My Team” Tab at the top of the page.)
This would be a simple card to make multiples of. If you are going to make multiples I would recommend getting the Oh, Wave! Wheel to make your waves and letting the child roll the waves onto the card stock. Why not let them help! I am all for creating an independent Crafter! That way we can work side by side on our own projects!
Crafting also teaches children many important skills, both mental skills and fine motor skills. Learning these skills is extremely important in advancing their development of other learning skills. (Is that a good enough reason/excuse to share your love of crafting with them?)
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Choose Heart Framelit size you want and cut one from Whisper White card stock using your Big Shot. I chose the largest one that wasn’t scalloped. 2. Decide how far up you want your “water” to go. Line up the straight edge of your Marina Mist card stock to that height on the same Heart Framelit used before. 3. Stamp the Waves in Marina Mist ink on your “Water”. Trim the top waves with your paper snips. 4. Hold your “Water” up on the card and decide where to stamp your sentiment. Stamp it in Real Red Ink. Stamp lots of small Hearts in the rest of the “Sky” part of your card. 5. Adhere your Marina Mist “Water” to your Whisper White Heart with Tombow Glue. 6. Stamp your Whale in Midnight Muse ink on Whisper White card stock. Cut out using the Happy Whale Clearlits Die and your Big Shot. Adhere the Whale to your card with either Dimensionals or Tombow Glue. 7. Find the little white fish that you cut with your Clearlits Die. Color it with your Real Red Marker. Add an eye with the Basic Black Marker. Adhere it to your card with Tombow Glue. 8. Write any desired sentiments on the back of your card such as the TO: and FROM: . 9. Admire your cute little Whale Valentine card.
You can buy all the supplies to make this Whale Valentine Card in My Online Store.
Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day! I hope you have a wonderful day enjoying the people you love! Here is a lovely My Digital Studio Valentine’s Day card. I made it on my Mom’s computer using her My Digital Studio program that has not had anything added. It was kind of hard for me because I have so many more Designer Series Papers, embellishments, and stamps. It was kind of nice though, not having so many choices. It was a lot easier to make decisions. Enjoy!
