Today is my Botanical Blooms class. We are making 4 cards including the two posted earlier this week. I also made another card from some of the pieces. Since I could not decide which ones to post I will show you all three. I will only give brief details for each. They all use the Botanical Blooms Bundle (stamps, Framelits, Designer Series Paper) and one uses the Sale-a-bration Botanical Vellum paper. Have fun!
Card 1 – Three Squares Card
~Hello Honey squares are 2″ and sponged with Cajun Craze.
~The Designer Series Paper squares are 1-3/4″ square and sponged with Cajun Craze.
~The Vellum is 1-3/4″ x 5-1/2″. I laid out all the pieces and attached the squares to the Vellum. I then added adhesive under the squares to attach the Vellum to the Mossy Meadow card base.
Yellow Flower Card
~Hello Honey card base, Cajun Craze layer is 4″ x 5-1/4″. Patterned paper is 3-3/4″ x 5″. Use your stamp and Mossy Meadow ink to stamp lines on the blank leaves on the paper. I thought this was pretty fun.
~Stamp a large leaf lines and a medium leaf lines in Mossy Meadow ink on Mossy Meadow ink. Cut out with the coordinating size Leaf Framelits. Next time I will use Dimensionals under the leaves so they stand out better.
~Cut your Flower and two flower centers from Hello Honey card stock. Attach the centers with Glue Dots. I did not use Dimensionals under the center petals and will add them the next time.
Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Fern Card
~Cut your Daffodil Delight card base.
~Cut your Old Olive card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Cut out Ferns from the front. (I just used the piece I had cut the ferns out of for my class.) Attach it to your card base. I just used SNAIL. Tombow Glue would have been a better choice though.
~The Cajun Craze square is 1-1/2″. The patterned paper square is 1-1/4″. Both are sponged with Cajun Craze ink. These are attached to the card front with Dimensionals.
~The “thinking of you” is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and punched out with the Word Window Punch. The Daffodil Delight is punched out with the Washi Label Punch. The Botanical Garden Flower Jewel is attached with a Glue Dot.

My daughter’s and son-in-law’s anniversary was on St. Patrick’s Day and this is the card I made for them. Most of it is quick and easy except for the Heart drying time. Enjoy tweaking this one for someone special. You could use any punched or die cut shape instead of the hearts.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Daffodil Delight card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Night of Navy card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Stamp your sentiment in Silver ink. Let dry for a few seconds. Run through your Big Shot with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder. 3. Punch your Hearts from the Silver and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. Lay on the card front in the position you want. Now punch your small stars from Daffodil Delight card stock. Put a dot of Tombow Glue on an embossed Night of Navy Star and glue your punched star on top of an embossed star. Do this until you have as many stars as you want above your hearts. 4. Now lay your sparkly Hearts on the Silicone Craft Sheet. Cover each Heart with Crystal Effects. Let dry for 4-5 hours or overnight. (You can just use the Hearts without the Crystal Effects if you want.) 5. After your Crystal Effects has dried on your Hearts, trim any overhanging Crystal Effects from around the edges of your Hearts with Paper Snips. Glue onto your card. 6. Stamp your sentiment in Black ink on Whisper White card stock. Cut out with the Itty Bitty Banners Framelit. Color the edges with your Daffodil Delight Marker. Attach to Hearts with Glue Dots. 7. If you want to add some excitement to the envelope you can use the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder on the envelope flap. Watch this Video to show you how to do this.

Attach to card base with Fast Fuse OR SNAIL Adhesive. 3. Stamp your flower image on Whisper White card stock with black ink. NOTE: Use Memento Black ink with Photopolymer stamps. StayzOn will permanently make them black. Color the flowers with Markers. Due to the shading in the stamps only simple coloring is needed to make the flower look great! 4. Choose the desired Oval Framelit to cut out your flower. Yes, I cut off part of the stem. Choose the next larger Oval Framelit and use it to cut your Crisp Cantaloupe mat. Put Dimensionals on the back of both Ovals and layer them together. 5. Stamp Happy Easter in Black ink on Whisper White card stock. Punch out with the Word Window Punch. Punch the mat from Crisp Cantaloupe card stock using the Modern Label Punch. Attach your sentiment with Fast Fuse or SNAIL Adhesive. Put Dimensionals on the back. My Daughter’s and Son-in-law’s Anniversary was this past Sunday so, of course, here is the card I made for them using the Starburst Sayings and coordinating Framelits with a little touch of wood. I also make a similar Wedding Card recently.

Run through your Big Shot with the Polka Dot embossing folder. Color edges with Night of Navy ink pad if desired. (Watch this video for Edging Techniques.) Attach to card front with Tombow Glue. 3. Stamp “Oh Happy Day” in VersaMark ink on Whisper White card stock. Dump Cherry Cobbler embossing powder on it. Remove excess. Melt with Heat Tool. Stamp the two smaller Starbursts in Real Red ink on the Whisper White card stock. Cut out all your Starbursts with the coordinating Framelits. 4. Stamp you Happy Anniversay in Real Red ink on the Wood Banner . 5. Place all pieces in the desired positions on your card front. Attach Starburst pieces with Dimensionals and Wood piece with Glue Dots. 6. Sing the “Oh Happy Day” song while admiring this trendy card. (The version that goes through my mind is the one from the Sister Act movie.)
My niece is getting married so I made this wedding card for her. It is fairly simple, but elegant. All products used excpet the Full Heart Punch will be available in the NEW Catalog. Enjoy making wedding cards for your family and friends this year! You can change the card stock, ribbon, and ink colors to match their wedding colors.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Real Red card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch THIS VIDEO for more detailed instructions.
2. Cut your Silver Fancy Foil Vellum with your Big Shot using the largest Scallop Oval Framelit. Put a Glue Dot behind each silver heart. Adhere Vellum Oval to card front making sure the hearts are the correct direction. 🙂
3. Cut your Ribbons 7-8 inches long:
~One: Cherry Cobbler 3/4″ Chevron
~Two: Real Red 1/8″ Taffeta
~Two: Silver 1/8″ Ribbon
Hold them together while tying a loose knot. Position the narrow ribbons on the Knot if desired. Now position the narrow ribbons over the Chevron Ribbon if desired. If they don’t want to stay where you want them to just place a Glue Dot under the offending ribbon(s) near the knot.
4. Punch out or cut out (with the desired size Heart Framelit) the Silver Glimmer Paper Heart. Put Dimensionals on the back. Stamp sentiment on Whisper White card stock with Real Red ink. Punch out your sentiment with the Word Window Punch. Run the brush tip of your Real Red Marker around the edge of your punched out sentiment if desired. You can also do this around the Heart if desired. It does add a little extra definition. I didn’t do it on either this time. Adhere the sentiment to the Heart with half Dimensionals.
5. Lay your Ribbons and Heart in the desired positions. Attach the Heart with the Dimensionals you put on the back. Attach your Ribbons using 4-5 Glue Dots on the knot and next to the knot.
6. Admire your silvery Wedding Card before writing in it and sending it off to the lucky couple.
