INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Elegant Eggplant card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch this video for more information on card bases. 2. Cut your Wisteria Wonder card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Center the card stock edge in your Scallop Edge Border Punch. Punch each edge starting in the center, then doing the left and right sides. 3. Cut out “Happy” from Elegant Eggplant card stock. Watch this video if you need detailed instructions. My preference is now to use Parchment Paper instead of Wax Paper, but both work. 4. Position your “Happy” where you want it. DO NOT attach it yet!!! Choose one of the stamps that starts with “SO”. Color it with your Elegant Eggplant Marker and stamp it above the “Happy”. Now you can stamp the “Together” and “Happy Anniversary” in Elegant Eggplant Ink over on the right hand side underneath “Happy”. You can now attach “Happy” using Tombow Glue. 5. Punch two hearts from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. Use your Elegant Eggplant Marker to color around the edges of both Hearts. Attach the bottom Heart with Fast Fuse and the top Heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 6. Attach your completed card front to your card base with Fast Fuse adhesive. 7. Time to celebrate with the Happy Couple!
I made this card for my son and his wife’s anniversary. Clear embossing powder and a heat tool were used to prevent the silver ink from smearing and add an interesting look to the embossed card stock..
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Lost Lagoon card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch this video if you need more instructions on making a basic card base. 2. Cut your Lost Lagoon card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Run through your Big Shot with an embossing folder. Gently rub your Silver ink pad over the raised embossed parts. I found that a swirling, circular motion worked best for this pattern. Now cover with Clear Embossing Powder. Remove excess. Melt with your Heat Tool. Hopefully you get the interesting coloring effect that I did. Attach to your card base with Tombow Glue. 3. Choose the Silver Fancy Foil Vellum pattern you want. I used the Hearts. Cut it out using the Heart Framelit of your choice. I believe I used the 2nd largest. Just make sure it will fit on your card in the direction you want. Make sure the Hearts on the Vellum are facing toward the top of your Heart! Apply Glue Dots behind each Silver Heart and attach to your card front. 4. Stamp the desired sentiments on the Silver Foil card stock with the Black StazOn ink. Let dry for a minute or two, then punch out with your Word Window or other punch. Attach in the desired positions on your Vellum Heart with Dimensionals. 5. You can emboss the envelope flap with the same embossing folder you used for your card front. Watch this video for directions. 6. You now have a wonderful Anniversary card to help someone celebrate.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Very Vanilla card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Modern Medley Designer Series Paper at 2″ x 5-1/2″ Adhere to card front about 1/4″ from the bottom. 3. Cut your 7/16″ Trim at 5-1/2″. Adhere above Modern Medley DSP with SNAIL. 4. Stamp the Four Frames and desired Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment in StayzOn Black. Puch out with Decorative Label Punch. Sponge around the edges using Crisp Cantaloupe ink. Place Dimensionals on the back. Set aside. 5. Punch seven Artisan Labels from Crisp Cantaloupe card stock. Sponge the edges with Calypso Coral ink if desired. Cut six Labels in half through the smooth center. Cut from each decorative edge to the center to form a triangle. This will form one petal. Use your bone folder to curl each petal. Use your bone folder to slightly curl the edges of the whole Artisan Lable piece. This will form your flower base. Place a curled petal along one edge of the flower base and another just opposite. Adhere all Petals with a Glue Dot. Now place two petals going the other direction on top of the first layer of petals. The next layer will go the same direction as the first layer. You can trim the center portions if desired. Continue placing petals until you have just one left. Make small cuts along the top edge. Roll it up slightly and attach to center of top petals with a glue dot. Fluff flower if desired. 6. Place sentiment label and flower in desired positions. Adhere label with Dimensionals. Adhere flower with either Glue Dots or a Demensional. 7. Place Candy Dots in the top two corners of card. 8. Hand deliver this card or put it in a package so it won’t get smashed.
I will have a new service available on August 1st. More details coming soon.
This cute Bunny card was one of the Make & Takes at our March downline meeting. It uses the new Oval Collection Framelits. This is a fun little Easter or Spring card. It was fairly simple to make and all of our Bunnies turned out cute.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Daffodil Delight card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Stam your card front with the Distressed Dots and the Daffodil Delight Ink. I have found the easiest way to get a good impression with the larger stamps is to ink it up well, then lay the stamp on the table with the rubber side up. Place your card stock onto the stamp carefully. Then hold your card stock with a finger or two and rub a clear mount block or the wood block over the card stock, switching where you are holding the card stock, so all parts of the card get rubbed with the block. 2. Now get out your Big Shot and Oval Framelits. Ears. Cut two of the smallest ovals out of Marina Mist. Cut two of the next larger size of ovals out of Whisper White. Skip an oval and use the fourth oval from the center to cut the head. 3. Glue your Ear Parts together with the Marina Mist on top of the Whisper White. Run them through your Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. 4. Angle the Largest Oval for the Bunny Head. You might also want to lay the ears in position too to make sure that is the angle you want both the head and the ears to be. Glue down the Head and the ears in the desired positions. 5. Punch two Basic Black Itty Bitty circles for the eyes. Punch a Small Heart for the Nose. Glue the eyes and nose in the desired positions. Draw whiskers, whisker dots and the Bunny mouth with your Basic Black Marker. Your Bunny is finished. 6. Punch a Scallop Oval out of Marina Mist card stock. Stamp Happy Easter in Marina Mist on Whisper White card stock. Punch with the Large Oval punch. Adhere Happy Easter to to the Scallop Oval with Dimensionals. Adhere this to your card base with Dimensionals. 7. Admire your cute Bunny Card!
I use my Stamp-a-ma-jig quite a bit to perfectly position my sentiments and Two-Step stamps. It can seem tricky to use, but after trying it out a couple of times you will get results like a Pro! Have fun using your Stamp-a-ma-jig to help you make this card.
On a personal note: I seem to have too many irons in too many fires lately. I may not be able to continue to do a video every week. I will still try to do a couple of videos a week. I know I am a visual learner and it is easier for me when I see something done. I have been working at the Family History Center more (almost every week)-which is fun too and I have a more demanding calling in my Church. As a result it has been harder to keep up with my home and family. I will still continue to post projects at least 3 days a week and the My Digital Studio downloads on Tuesday.
1. Stamp images using your Stamp-a-ma-jig as shown in the video making sure to leave enough room around the edges for the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.
2. Use your Big Shot and the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder to make a frame around your stamped images
3. Get your card base ready: Wisteria Wonder card stock cut at 5-12″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Put SNAIL around the edges of your card front. Adhere your stamped and embossed card layer.
4. Admire your perfectly stamped card!
My oldest son and his wife just had their 9th Anniversary. Here is the card I made for them. If you don’t have the Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper today is the last day to order it. I do love the seeing the contrast of the Glimmer Paper and the flocking!
I will be posting a “Love” card every Wednesday between now and Valentine’s Day that can be used as a Valentine’s Day card, Wedding card, or Anniversary card just by changing the sentiment. Yes, they will most likely have hearts on them unless I change a lot. I have always loved using Hearts!

Here is a card I made for a friend’s birthday. I am flying out to help my Mom for a week or two and will post as I am able. The Flower stamp (Mixed Bunch) and Blossom Punch are in the Occasions Mini catalog on page 17. The “Happy Birthday” is from the Messages for Mom stamp set. I also used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. Enjoy!
