INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Emerald Green card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch this Video if you want more instructions on making a card base. 2. Cut your Whisper White card stock at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Get your embossing folder. Find the smooth side where the parts to be embossed are lower than the flat part. Use your Emerald Envy ink pad to ink up this side of your embossing folder. Don’t worry about keeping the center oval clean as it will be covered up. Put your Whisper White card stock on the UNINKED side of the embossing folder and get it in the position you want – with the Oval in the center. Close your embossing folder and run through your Big Shot. Set aside to dry. Clean your embossing folder with running water from your sink. 3. Stamp “Hooray” and “Happy Birthday” in Emerald Envy ink on Whisper White card stock. Punch out the Hooray with a 2″ Circle Punch. Cut out the Happy Birthday with the Banner Framelit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits set. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of both pieces. 4. Choose the Oval Framelit that fits best inside the Oval on the embossing folder and cut it out of Emerald Envy card stock. 5. Now it is time to put everything together and turn it into a card.
~Use Tombow Glue to attach your embossed card stock to your card base. Center it so the card base shows equally around your embossed piece.
~Add your cut out Oval over the Oval space on your embossed piece. I used Tombow Glue.
~Decide the position of your “Hooray” and “Happy Birthday”. Remove the Stampin’ Dimensional backs and attach. 6. If you are like me and did not leave enough room on both sides of your Happy Birthday so it could be in the center when you cut it out, then you can punch out a few Stars from the Confetti Stars Punch and glue them to your Happy Birthday Banner. 😉
Have fun making your own Hooray Happy Birthday Card to celebrate the next birthday in your family or for a friend!
Here is a video showing you the basic steps in making a Mini Treat Bag. There are also five differently embellished Mini Treat Bags to show you some of the variety you can get using this one Thinlit set. Have fun creating your own Mini Treat Bags!
This video is 6 minutes and 38 seconds.
Note: I was trying to add links to my video at the end. I hope to figure out what I need to do soon and change it.

~Head= 1/2″ Circle Punch
~Body= 3/4″ Circle Punch
~8 Legs = sliver of 3/4″ Circle Punch. 6. Lay out the pieces on top of the Spider Web Doily. Attach Happy Halloween and Spider with Dimensionals. Attach Spooky with Tombow Glue. 7. Put in a treat for someone special.
INSTRUCTIONS 1. Cut out your Mini Treat Bag from So Saffron card stock cut at 6″ x 11″. Fold all tabs. You can either stamp now or later. I wish I would have stamped after step 3 when the Treat Bag was assembled and the Belly Band was on, OR that I would have stamped over the fold lines. 2. Assemble by attaching the back flap to the front with adhesive. Then connect the center back with adhesive. Last fold up the bottom flap and attach with adhesive. 3. Cut your Cajun Craze Belly Band at 1-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Center in the front and fold both sides back. Attach the back sides together with adhesive. Stamp now if desired. 4. Use Tombow to attach your “Thanks” to the Belly Band. 5. Stamp “Grateful for you” in Cajun Craze ink on Pumpkin Pie card stock. Punch out with the Label Bracket Punch. Punch a 1/8″ hole at the top and thread your Baker’s Twine through the hole, around the Belly Band, and then back through the hole. Tie your bow. Adjust the position of the Baker’s Twine and Label Bracket tag. 6. Add some goodies or a fun little gift and give to someone special.
Happy Independence Day to those in the United States. If you live somewhere else, take a few minutes to celebrate where you live. I made this fun card with one of the Thinlits from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit set. SUPPLIES: Marker: Pacific Point Card Stock: Night of Navy
Whisper White Big Shot:Mini Treat Bag Thinlits #137547 Punch:Decorative Label #120907 Other: Tombow Glue
Scissors with longer blade
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Real Red and Night of Navy card stock at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. 3. Choose the Star Strip from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits set. Cut 4 Real Red Star Strips and and 3 Night of Navy Star Strips. I just cut them apart with scissors. I also trimmed the ends with scissors which is why they are uneven. If you want you can cut your strips BEFORE you cut the Star Thinlit at 5/8″ x 3-5/8″ to 3-3/4″. 4. Glue the Star Strips onto your Whisper White card base. 5. Punch out a Whisper White Decorative Label. Hand write your sentiment. Attach with Dimensionals.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Choose the color and pattern of paper you want to use. I chose Mint Macaron. If you are using the striped paper choose the way you want your stripes to go. If you want them up and down like mine, then cut your paper 6″ x 12″ with the stripes 12″ long. The zigzag part of the Thinlit is the top of the bag. 2. Now cut out the Mini Treat Bag using the Thinlit. Make sure the zigzag bag top is positioned so your stripes will be going up and down. Cut out both bag pieces. 3. Fold your Treat Bag pieces on the score lines. Check to see if any of the score lines tore. If they did, the put a piece of regular tape on the inside of the bag over the torn score line OR you could put coordinating Washi Tape on the outside to cover the torn score line. 4. Decide whether the bottom flap will be inside or outside the bag. If it will be on the inside than fold up the flap and put your Fast Fuse on the striped side. If it will be on the outside, then put your adhesive on the solid color AFTER the rest of the bag is put together. 5. Put Fast Fuse on the striped side of the tab and on the edge of the small bag half. Line up the side and bottom. Now attach the tab to the large side edge. Lay the small side flat and overlap the back of the larger back piece. 6. If your flap is going on the outside, add your adhesive now and fold it up. 7. Stamp your sentiment in the same color ink as your paper. Cut it out by hand. Optional: Stamp your image twice. Cut out the inside with the coordinating Framelit included with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit set. You will still have to hand cut the larger outside bottom layer, but this will add a nice layered dimension to your Treat Bag. 8. Cut your Ribbon the desired length with the ends cut diagonal as desired. Attach with a strip or two of SNAIL or Fast Fuse on the back of the Ribbon behind where the Stamped image will cover it. Add your Stamped and cut out image with either Fast Fuse or Dimensionals. 9. Put a small treat or gift inside and give to someone.
Have you ever wanted a little bag made from patterned paper or plain card stock? Now is your chance with this NEW Mini Treat Bag Thinlit! You can choose the paper and stamps to coordinate with the card or gift! I am SO Excited for this! The “For You” and the Banner shape are also included for a total of TEN items to cut out in addition to the two parts of the bag. Enjoy!
SUPPLIES: Card Stock: Designer Series Paper or card stock for your Mini Treat Bag
Basic Gray for Banner die cut
Pistachio Pudding for the “For You” die cut Big Shot: Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies #137547 Other: Sticky Strip
SNAIL, Fast Fuse, or Tombow Whisper White 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon #134567
Paper Snips (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut the two parts of your Mini Treat Bag out of your Designer Series Paper (DSP) OR card stock of your choice. Cut out any other desired shapes and words at this time using coordinating colors of card stock to match your DSP. 2. Put Sticky Strip along the tab score line on the smaller section and also on the other edge with the side you want to see facing so you can see it. Attach this section to the larger section at the side Tab. I figured out the placement BEFORE removing the Sticky Strip red backing. DO NOT finish attaching the other side just yet! 3. Decide now whether you want the bottom tab on the outside or inside of your bag. 3a. If you want your bottom Tab on the Inside of your bag: Put the Sticky Strip on the front side and outer edge of your bottom Tab. Remove the Sticky Strip backing from both the side edge and the bottom Tab. Fold up the Bottom Tab and then close the back of your Bag. 3b. If you want the bottom Tab on the Outside of your bag: Close the back of your bag. You will need to trim the bottom of you bag just a little so the bottom Tab will fold up nicely. Then add Sticky Strip to the inside edge of your bottom Tab and fold it up. 4. Now to decorate it! Tie some ribbon around it so it is on tight enough to stay on by itself. If it needs help staying on use a Glue Dot or two under the knot. 5. Attach your die cuts. 6. Fill with treats, a small card, some cash, or a gift card. 7. You have a gift bag ready is less than 5 minutes!
