INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Thick Whisper White card base ar 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. SCORE and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Perfect Plum card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run through your Big Shot with the Petal Burst embossing folder. Glue to your card base. 3. Stamp all three pandas on Whisper White cardstock leaving plenty of room to punch them out with the Starburst Punch. You might need to stamp each image more than once, so use the Stamp-a-ma-jig so you can get the perfect stamped images. Punch out each panda separately with the Starburst Punch. Stamp the confetti in Perfect Plum ink as desired around the pandas. 4. Stamp Happy Birthday twice in either Perfect Plum or Elegant Eggplant ink on Whisper White cardstock. Punch out both sentiments with the Classic Label Punch. Put three Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of each Classic Label. 5. Punch three 2-1/4″ Elegant Eggplant circles. Glue the Panda Starbursts onto the Elegant Eggplant circles. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Elegant Eggplant circles. 6. Punch a Balloon out of Wisteria Wonder cardstock. Color it with the Rich Razzleberry Blends Markers. I did the Dark against the left side, the Light over the rest, and made the “shine” by removing the color with the Color Lifter. 7. Lay out your circles, balloon, and Happy Birthdays in the desired positions. Attach the Circles and Happy Birthdays with the Stampin’ Dimensionals. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the Balloon. 8. Tie a bow from the Baker’s Twine. Attach it to the bottom of the balloon with either a Glue Dot or a small dot of Tombow Glue.
Your card is finished. 9. Envelope Options:
~Emboss the envelope flap with the embossing folder
~Stamp either a panda or Happy Birthday onto the envelope flap.

For the second piece:
~Put it with the other side up.
~Hold one of the first cut diagonal pieces next to it to help you decide which way to cut it diagonally. Cut.
~Do you want to sponge around the edge? If you do, do it now. (I am out of town and forgot my sponges. I miss them!!!)
~Lay one of each pattern on your card front. Attach the bottom/right side first. Then attach the top/left side. Mine overlapped a little along the diagonal center to get it straight.
~Add a border sticker to the one edge if desired.
~Repeat with the other two diagonal pieces. I put these on a Tranquil card base. See Monday’s post for this card. 3. Stamp the Eastern Beauty Flower on Whisper White card stock with Fresh Fig ink. Stamp the little heart inside each petal with Fresh Fig ink. Cut out with the coordinating Framelit. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back. 4. Stamp your sentiment on Whisper White card stock with Tranquil Tide ink. Punch out with the Classic Label Punch. Stamp the circles or other small image with Lemon Lime Twist ink. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back. 5. Cut a Stitched Shapes Circle Framelit from Tranquil Tide card stock. Attach the die cut Flower to it. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back and attach the to the upper left part of the card. Attach your sentiment to the lower right part of the card. This card features a Stamped Background using the Eastern Beauty stamp set available May 1st as part of the Eastern Palace Starter and Premier Bundles. You can choose any two or three stamps and the same number of ink colors to make your Stamped Background. You can stamp in a pattern as shown. Or stamp randomly with stamped images overlapping.
The next few weeks will feature cards made with the Premier Bundle and a few other supplies I could fit in my suitcase as I am at my parents’ house helping out. My Dad has been in the hospital and was moved to rehab last night. Yes, I actually made this card this morning with not nearly enough sleep. I think it turned out pretty well.
SUPPLIES: Stamps: Eastern Beauty Photopolymer #143675 Inks: Fresh Fig
Lemon Lime Twist Card Stock: Thick Whisper White card base
Tranquil Tide from the Eastern Palace Card Stock Pack #144148
Whisper White Punch:Classic Label #141491 Other: Stamping Sponge
Fast Fuse or SNAIL
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. I used Thick Whisper White to conserve my colored card stock. 2. Cut your Tranquil Tide card front layer at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Attach to card base. 3. Cut your Whisper White at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Choose your Three stamps and three ink colors. I used Tranquil Tide ink for the curvy square stamp, Fresh Fig for the larger flower stamp, and Lemon Lime Twist for the small center flower.
~Stamp your center stamp first-Curvy Square
~Now stamp your large Flower stamp on each side of the Curvy Square.
~Stamp the Curvy Square in the corners.
~Stamp the small flower in the center of the Curvy Squares and the large Flowers.
NOTE: You can stamp your greeting in the center Curvy Square if desired. I didn’t think about doing that until after I was finished stamping.
Your Background is finished. 4. The stamp I used comes curved. Straighten it out on a clear block, then stamp. I used Tranquil Tide ink.
~Punch out with the Classic Label Punch.
~Sponge around the edges with Fresh Fig ink.
~Attach to card front with half Stampin’ Dimensionals.
NOTE: I did not bring any sponges with me so I used some Kleenex wrapped around my finger to sponge the edges. While this may seem cheaper, using a Kleenex instead of a sponge is harder to get the sponging effect I want. The Kleenex also crumbles and removing the crumbles leaves ink smears. Just so you know. At least I remembered my Stamp Blocks this time.
You can get the Eastern Palace Bundles starting May 1st.
