This is a quick Birthday Card and uses the NEW Happy Birthday Thinlit and your choice of patterned paper. The one I used is retired-sorry. But it is perfect for my daughter whose birthday is coming up soon.
SUPPLIES: Card Stock: Flirty Flamingo – Light Color
Watermelon Wonder (Retired) – Darker Color
Patterned Paper of your choice – Choose a light and a darker coordinating card stock colors. Big Shot: Happy Birthday Thinlit #143700 Adhesives: Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets #144106
Fast Fuse or SNAIL
INSTRUSTIONS: 1. Choose your patterned paper and two coordinating colors of card stock. 2. Cut a 3-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ piece of each color card stock. Place a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet on the back of each, leaving on the backing. Run through your Big Shot with the Happy Birthday Thinlit. (You can just use Tombow or the Fine Tip Glue Pen instead of the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet if you want.) 3. Cut your card base (I used Flirty Flamingo) at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Cut your layer at 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ (Watermelon Wonder). Attach to card base.
~Cut your patterned paper at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Attach to card base. 4. Peel the adhesive backing off the darker Happy Birthday and attach to card. Lay the light Happy Birthday on top to determine how much to the side you want it. Then remove the backing and gently place it, holding underneath to prevent it from sticking where you don’t want it to. Wahoo!!! You are done!!

Sorry, my theme is not letting me add links. I will be updating my blog at the end of July and will fix it then.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Flirty Flamingo card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Choose the two Framelits you will use as your cut out and frame. 3. Cut your Card front pieces:
~Whisper White at 4″ x 5-1/4″.
~Patterned Paper at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Cut out the window using the smaller Framelit.
~Window Sheet at 3-3/4″ x 5″
~Flirty Flamingo Window Frame: Put both Framelits on the card stock on your Big Shot Platform. Make sure the card stock showing between them is even. Cut.
~Stamp your Ice Cream with Flirty Flamingo ink on Whisper White card stock with the solid Ice Cream stamps. Stamp the Ice Cream layers with Watermelon Wonder ink on the solid Ice Cream piece. Cut out with the coordinating Ice Cream Framelit.
~Cut out both the solid and the detailed Thinlit Ice Cream cone pieces from Crumb Cake card stock. Attach together with Tombow Glue and sponge wedge on your Silicone Craft Sheet. Glue the Ice Cream to the top.
~Stamp Happiest Birthday or other words in Watermelon Wonder ink on a Whisper White card stock strip. Punch the end with the Banner Triple Punch. 4. Assemble Card Front.
~Glue the Flirty Flamingo Frame around the Window on your patterned paper using Tombow Glue because it has a little wiggle room so you can use your fingers in the window hole to line up both pieces.
~Glue the Window Sheet on the back of the card front. You just need glue around the edges of the Window Sheet.
~Attach the Happiest Birthday Banner with the adhesive of your choice.
~Attach the Ice Cream Cone with half Stampin’ Dimensionals 5. Make the Shaker Card.
~Put your Foam Adhesive strips on the back of your card front within about 1/4″ from the window cut-out making sure there are no small gaps for your Sprinkles to escape through. Rub the part of the Foam Adhesive Strip that is in the center where the sprinkles will be with your Embossing Buddy to remove all the sticky from the sides. This will help prevent your Sprinkles from sticking to the Foam. If you look closely, you can see I forgot this step.
~Also put some Foam Adhesive Strips about 1/4″ from the edge of the back side of the card front.
~Optional: Line up the Whisper White 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece with the completed card front to get an idea of where to place some of the Sprinkles with Glue Dots. Attach a few Sprinkles on the Whisper White piece with Glue Dots. Cut away the excess Glue Dot that sticks out beyone the Sprinkle if you want a smaller glob of Sprinkles to collect on the Glue Dot. I just left the Glue Dot as is of all but one of the added Sprinkles.
~Put the desired amount of Sprinkles on the back of the card front inside the Foam Window. Match up the sides of the Whisper White piece and the card front and attach.
~Attach your Shaker card front to your card base. 6. Yippee! You are finished!
Enjoy making your own version of this Shaker Card. You can buy all the supplies in My Online Store 24/7.

INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Thick Whisper White card base ar 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. SCORE and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Balloon shape out of Tempting Turquoise card stock. The sides will need to be cut along the embossed edge lines with either your Paper Trimmer or scissors. 3. Stamp:

~Banner in Tempting Turquoise ink
~Let’s Celebrate in Island Indigo ink 4. Round all four corners with the Corner Rounder Punch. 5. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back. Attach to card front.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your So Saffron card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your So Saffron card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Run through your Big Shot with the Confetti Embossing Folder making sure to center it around the oval. Sponge the Confetti with Crushed Curry ink. 3. Stamp your cupcake on Whisper White card stock. Both the Cupcake Liner and Frosting use three stamps each to achieve the great look.
~Cupcake Liner stamp 1 in Crumb Cake ink (light)
~Cupcake Liner stamp 2 in Chocolate Chip ink (medium)
~Cupcake Liner stamp 3 in Early Espresso ink (dark)
~Cupcake Frosting stamp 1 in Delightful Dijon (dark)
~Cupcake Frosting stamp 2 in Crushed Curry (medium)
~Cupcake Frosting stamp 3 in So Saffron (light)
I actually stamped the Frosting in the reverse order. It really does not matter which order you stamp them in, just that you choose a light, medium, and dark color. 4. Cut out your Cupcake Liner and Frosting with the coordinating Framelits. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Cupcake Liner and Foam Adhesive Strips on the back of the Frosting. 5. Cut the Happy from Delightful Dijon card stock using the Hello You Thinlits. This will work best on the Precision Base Plate. 6. Lay your Cupcake pieces and Happy on your card front. Decide where to stamp Birthday. Stamp Birthday in Delightful Dijon ink. Attach your Happy with glue and your Cupcake with the Stampin’ Dimensionals and Foam Adhesive Strips.

Cut the next larger size Framelit from Calypso Coral card stock. Use your Marker to outline the edges of both die cuts. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of both die cuts. Attach the Birthday layer to the Calypso Coral Layer. 4. Cut out the “Happy” Thinlit from Dapper Denim card stock using the Precision Base Plate and a FLAT cutting pad. You might also want to put some Parchment Paper or Wax Paper from your grocery store between the Thinlit and the card stock to help you remove it more easily from the Thinlit. Attach using small dots of Glue – either Tombow or Fine Tip.
Have fun using the Lots of Labels Framelits and the Hello You Thinlits to make cards for a variety of occasions.
At our Upline Meeting at Sharon’s House she had us do a basic single layer card (Stamping 101), then add some elements with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give the card some Pop (Stamping 102). The purpose of this was to help us help teach beginning stampers to design their own cards – which are usually stamped on the card base, then step it up with a few simple additions. It was a fun experience. Try it for yourself and have some fun! It took us about 1-1/2 hours to make the two versions. We did just use our Stamping 101 card and added to it.
We started out with a NEW Stamp set in front of us. I even got to assemble it for her since it was Wood Mount. She had all the NEW In Color ink pads, card stock, and the NEW Ruched Ribbon. There was also Whisper White card stock, the NEW Duet Banners Punch, and the NEW Layered Squares Framelits.
STAMPING 101 CARD INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch this Video if you need help making a card base. 2. Lay your card base in the landscape position – with the fold at the top. 3. Stamp your words in the center of the frame in Emerald Envy ink. Use your Stamp-a-ma-jig if you want. Watch this Video to learn how to use your Stamp-a-ma-jig. 4. Choose the ink stamps and the ink color for each stamp. Stamp each stamp diagonally in the same direction in at least two places. Fill in any large spaces with the smaller stamps. Yes, one stamp will look like it is going backwards. No one will notice unless you tell them. Remember to stamp straight down and straight up to avoid getting “Ring around the Rubber”. 5. Your basic Stamping 101 card is finished!
STAMPING 102 CARD INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Follow all the steps for the Stamping 101 card. You do NOT need to stamp the words in the center as you will be covering them up. 2. Stamp the following on a scrap of Whisper White card stock.
~Stamp the Painter’s Easel two times in Dapper Denim ink.
~Stamp the words in Emerald Envy inside one of the Frames of a Painter’s Easel.
~Stamp “A Little Expression of Love” In Emerald Envy ink. 3. Use your Paper Snips to cut out around one of your stamped Painter’s Easels. Only the two feet and the top will be showing so cut those pieces extra well and the frame will be covered up. Attach to the center of your card with either SNAIL, Fast Fuse, or Tombow Glue. 4. Choose the Layered Square Framelit you like best to cut the Frame out of the other stamped Painter’s Easel. I chose a Scallop one that was slightly larger than the Frame. Cut it out with your Big Shot. Sponge around the Scallop edges with a Stamping Sponge wedge and Dapper Denim ink. Attach over the Frame of your Painter’s Easel which is on your card front. 5. Punch out the “A Little Expression…” with the Duet Banner Punch. Put your card stock in the punch so you can see the stamped words through the Banner holes in the bottom of the punch. Line up the words so they are in the position you like and punch. Sponge some Emerald Envy ink around the edges of the punched banner. Put some Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of your punched banner. Attach it to the upper left corner of your card front. 6. Tie a bow with the Ruched Ribbon. If you have trouble tying a bow, just tie a knot with about 1-1/2″ on one end and then cut off the other end to match. Attach to your Painter’s Easel on the upper right corner with Glue Dots. 7. A few extra steps can take your card from cute and nice to impressive.
Have fun making a Stamping 101 Card and then adding some layers to it for your Stamping 102 card!

~Decide the position of your “Hooray” and “Happy Birthday”. Remove the Stampin’ Dimensional backs and attach. 6. If you are like me and did not leave enough room on both sides of your Happy Birthday so it could be in the center when you cut it out, then you can punch out a few Stars from the Confetti Stars Punch and glue them to your Happy Birthday Banner. 😉

Baby Wipe or wet paper towel to remove some of the ink from embossing folder
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Rose Red card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Put your card front inside the Polka Dot embossing folder folding the card back under the embossing folder. Run through your Big Shot. 2. Stamp your four Flowers with Rose Red ink using the Rose Wonder Flower that coordinates with the Thinlit. I did use the Precision Base Plate with my Big Shot to cut these flowers out. Cut all four flowers out using your Big Shot and the coordinating Thinlit. 3. Choose the words you want on your card, then choose the Fun Frame embossing folder that your words fit in. Stamp your words in Cherry Cobbler ink on Rose Red card stock making sure you have enough room for your Fun Frame. You can see my choices. Feel on the inside of your embossing folder for the side where the images sink down to leave indents (not being raised above the plastic). Take your Cherry Cobbler ink pad and run it over your embossing folder on the side where the images sink down. Make sure all the flat parts which include the dots and the inner frame lines and outer frame lines are covered with ink. If you are like me, you will have ink covering most of the inside of the Frame where you want to stamp your image. Take a baby wipe or wet paper towel or tissue and wipe away the ink from places you don’t want it. Remoisten the ink on the embossing folder by opening your mouth wide and breathing on it. Now insert your Rose Red card stock into the embossing folder so the stamped words are positioned in the Fun Frame where you want them and run through your Big Shot. Run your embossing folder under running water to clean. Cut out your Fun Frame using Paper Snips or scissors. 4. Lay out your Flowers and Frame. Decide where your Glitter Tape will go remembering that Stampin’ Dimensionals do not stick to the Glitter Tape. Attach your Glitter Tape to your card front. Attach your Flowers with 2 Glue Dots under the center small circles. Attach your Fun Frame with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Put dots of Dazzling Details on each of the flower center circles. Set aside to dry. 5. You can use the Flower stamp to decorate your envelope OR you can emboss the envelope flap. Watch this Video to learn how to emboss the envelope flap.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Pink Pirouette card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Pink Pirouette card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run the edges across your Rose Red ink pad. Watch This Video for card stock edging techniques. 3. Stamp “Happy Birthday” and “Make a Wish” in Rose Red ink. 4. Stamp two balloons in Elegant Eggplant ink on each side of the Make a Wish. 5. Draw three strings for each set of balloons. 6. Punch out two Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper Balloons. Attach with a Dimensional to card front in between each set of balloons. 7. Attach your completed card front to the card base. 8. Stamp Balloons on the envelope if desired.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Pacific Point card base at 4-1/4″ x 11″. SCORE and Fold at 5-1/2″. 2. Cut your Whisper White card center at 4″ x 10-1/2″. SCORE and fold at 5-1/4″. 3a. Now pull out your Big Shot. These pieces both cut better if you use the Precision Base Plate and a flat top cutting pad. You will notice both Thinlits have triangle-like points on the top and bottom in the center. You are to align these up with the fold line to get the Pop-Up in the center.
~Choose which one will be flat on the front and which will be the Pop-Up on the inside of your card. 3b. Now that you have decided which Thinlit to use flat on your card front, and to Pop-Up inside your card, you can cut. Look for a video demonstrating this on Friday, January 15, 2016. Flat
~Take note that the sides of the Hip Hip Hooray only make a score line on the sides. If you want it flat on the card front, just cut along the score lines on each side.
~The 3 thin lines on the sides of the Happy Birthday also have score lines at the end of the Thinlit. If you want the Happy Birthday to lay flat, just cut off the thin lines next to the letters on each side. You can color The candles, letters, and cake stand with Markers if you want.
~Use the Big Shot Die Brush to help you get out all the small parts quickly. You can also run your Bone Folder between the card stock and Thinlit to help finish getting the pieces out.
~You can save the curly pieces from the Hip Hip Hooray Thinlit to glue onto the front of your card using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. I didn’t think of it until I had thrown my pieces away. Pop-Up
Place your card stock and Thinlit on your Precision Base Plate. Line up the Triangle Points on the top and bottom of the Thinlit with the fold line on the Whisper White 4″ x 1-1/2″ card inside. Center it on the top and bottom with the Triangle points still on the fold line. The top point on the Happy Birthday is between two candles. Once everything is lined up and centered the way you want it, put on the top cutting plate and run through your Big Shot. Once through usually does it with my Big Shots. 4. Fold the inside of your card in half. Now push the Pop-Up in the opposite direction so it will stick out from the center when opened. Fold your card inside flat and rub with your Bone Folder so all the folds are well creased in the direction you want them. 5a. Now it is time to attach the card inside to the card base. With your card inside still folded in half, put SNAIL on the side that will be attached to your card base. DO NOT put ANY adhesive on the part you want to Pop-Up!!!! This is also why we are using SNAIL instead of Tombow. 5b. Put your folded card inside fold line along the card base fold line, making sure the card inside is centered along the top and bottom of the card base. Rub to attach the SNAIL. 5c. Now lay your card base flat. Put your Bond Folder under the Pop-Up and attach the other half of your card inside flat to your card base. Fold your card in half with your Pop-Up still pointing out and flatten it out well with your Bone Folder. This will get rid of any lumps or bulges that may have formed under the adhesive. 6. Stamp or write on the inside if desired. 7. Attach your Flat cut out to the Front. Attach the curly pieces too if you want. You now have a fun Pop-Up Birthday Card!

Stamp your first Dinosaur, the Stegosaurus, in Mint Macaron for the body and Marina Mist for the bones. 4. Stamp your second Dinosaur, the T-Rex, in Pear Pizzazz for the body and Mossy Meadow for the bones. Next time I will probably choose Old Olive for the bones. 5. Stamp a Real Red party hat on both Dinosaur heads. 6. Cut around the top of the Dinosaurs. 7. Stamp your sentiments in Memento Black ink. Use your Basic Black Marker to draw Word Bubbles around the sentiments. Pay attention to which way you want the small part to point. Cut these out with your scissors. 8. Cut a strip of Pear Pizzazz card stock for your grass. I think mine was 3/4″ x 5-1/2″. Put a strip of Tear & Tape adhesive along on of the long edges. Use your Fringe Scissors to cut down to the Tear & Tape. 9. Decide where you want everything. Attach the Dinosaurs and sentiments with Tombow Glue. Attach the Grass with the Tear & Tape. 10. You now have a card most children will love! (My girls liked Dinosaurs as much as my boys. Same with my oldest granddaughter.) 11. Stamp some dinosaurs on the envelope. I stamped the brontosaurus in Pear Pizzazz on the front, and the Rhino looking one on the back. I also stamped one of the sentiments on the flap. I know he will be excited to see this envelope!
This card uses the Celebrate Today Photopolymer Bundle with the Balloon Framelits and the Happy Birthday words. I also used the Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper. Have fun making this card to give the next birthday girl or guy!
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Bermuda Bay card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your diagonal striped Designer Series Paper at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Sponge around the edges with Bermuda Bay ink. Attach to card base with Fast Fuse adhesive. 3. Cut two balloons from the confetti print with gold flecks using your Big Shot and the Balloon Framelit. Now cut a balloon from Island Indigo card stock using the Balloon Framelit. Sponge around all the balloons with Bermuda Bay ink. 4. Choose the Happy and Birthday stamps and place them on the same clear block. Make sure they fit inside your Island Indigo Balloon. Stamp in Island Indigo ink. 5. Put Dimensionals on the back of all three balloons. Double stack the Dimensionals on the top and bottom of the Island Indigo balloon leaving just one Dimensional on each side. This will make the center balloon stand out some from the other balloons. 6. Put a Glue Dot on the string end of each balloon and place some Gold Baker’s Twine on the Glue Dot. Now attach your balloons to the card front leaving the ends of the Baker’s Twine loose for now. 7. Trim the ends of the Baker’s Twine now. These ended at the bottom of the diagonal striped layer. Gently roll a Glue Dot and attach to the bottom end of each piece of Baker’s Twine and attach to the bottom of your card. 8. Your birthday card is now ready to give to that special someone.
This card was made for my granddaughter’s birthday. Since she is just turning one year old, I made it Postcard style and enclosed it in a Clear Envelope so she can hold and play with it and not damage it too much. You can make it into a regular card and use for any age.
