The October 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit is really fun to make! You get to make 8 Fall Shaker Cards. I pretty much followed the instructions. There were enough Foam Adhesive Strips to divide the sequins for each leaf. Just remember to attach the window sheet behind the leaves first.

Have fun with your OWN Paper Pumpkin Kit every month!
Have you ever wished you could just have some crafting time without all the prep work? Getting a Paper Pumpkin Kit in the mail every month gives me that. All the supplies are included except basic tools like a bone folder and scissors. Most of the adhesives are even included – although I prefer to use my Fast Fuse instead of the glue dots provided. If I follow the directions I can usually complete the projects in less than an hour. However…. sometimes I am inspired and don’t follow the directions which takes longer.
Here is what I made with the last Kit. I did (mostly) follow the directions.

Would you like a surprise Craft Kit in the mail every month? Order one for yourself and Skip to the Fun! Most projects can be completed in 45 minutes or less….. unless you get really creative and then the fun can last longer. Some have their DH watch the kids while they escape for 30 to 45 minutes for some much needed ME Time!

This video is for demonstrators, but includes the basics of Paper Pumpkin.
What is included in the Kit?
~Your first Kit includes a Stamp Block to use with the Photopolymer stamps included in each Kit.
~There is a full color picture of the finished project(s). There are also basic instructions included behind the full color picture. You should also receive an email with a video showing you how to make the project. (If I remember correctly. This is something they are just starting.)
~All the card stock and embellishments are included to make the project of the month. There may be die cuts to punch out. Some die cuts are self-adhesive.
~There is always at least one 1″ ink pad called a Stampin’ Spot. The colors do not repeat in a twelve month time period.
~You will need to provide some basic tools like a Stampin’ Pierce Mat, a Bone Folder, maybe a ruler, and scissors. Lately, all the adhesives have also been included.
Can I order more than one Kit?
~You can order a FULL Kit which includes the stamps and ink pad and everything else you need just like the Kit you received in the mail.
~OR you can order a REFILL Kit which includes everything BUT the stamps and ink pad.
What types of projects are there?
~April was the wreath shown above.
~Most months have cards and envelopes.
~There have been mini scrapbooks, pinwheels, and a framed collage. I guess I haven’t been writing down the list of all the projects.
~The projects are seasonal. January was Valentine’s Day. May will be Father’s Day. There are a variety of stamps included to fit your card-giving and seasonal needs.
~I have really enjoyed most of the Kits. I can only think of one that I didn’t enjoy, but I wasn’t feeling well when I got that kit.
~HERE are some of the past Kits available.

This is the last Paper Pumpkin card for the February 2016 Kit. This card uses the same flower stamps as the last one. I repositioned them on the block and used Lost Lagoon ink. The gold outlined flower, the green leaf, and the Pool Party flower are self-adhesive die cuts from the Kit. There are several cards in each design and plenty of die cuts to use. There is also a cute envelope for each card.
Here is the 2nd card I made from the February 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit. The Kit does come with some basic instructions which you can follow if you want to. I partially followed the instructions for this card. I added some stamping using two of the Flower Stamps that came in the Kit. I also used Elegant Eggplant ink instead of the Blackberry Bliss ink that came with the Kit. The outlined flower and leaves and the solid Pool Party flower are self-adhesive die cuts included with the kit.
Each month as a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber, both Month-to-Month AND Prepaid Subscriber, you will receive and email with links to:
The Project Video for the month (about 3 minutes long demonstrating all three cards). This is nice to watch if you need some visual basic instructions.
The Stampin’ Up! Blog Post which shows the full Stamp Set included, all the cards made up, and the cute envelopes, plus a photo of each card.
There is also a link to get a Refill Kit. What is the difference between an extra Kit and a Refill Kit?
~The Kit comes with everything your original kit came with including the stamps and the 1″ ink pad called a Stampin’ Spot.
~The Refill Kit does not include the stamps or the Stampin’ Spot ink pad. It does include everything else needed to make the projects.

I also added some Dimensionals on the Banner. This card took about 2 minutes to make. Glue Dots are included with the Kit, but I was in the mood to use Stampin’ Dimensionals.

BASIC SUPPLIES: March 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit Stamps: Big Day Wood #139109, Clear #139112 Ink: Black included in the Kit
Pool Party Marker Other: Dimensionals (some are included in the Kit)
STRIPED CARD INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Stamp the desired sentiment above the punched YOU. 2. Using 40″ of embroidery thread from the Kit, backstitch the letters as directed in the Kit instructions. This goes very quickly. You will need 40″ of thread to complete all three letters and have some left to tie a knot at the end. Place Dimensionals on the back of your embroidered piece. 3. Place the stamped and embroidered card stock where desired on one of the card fronts. 4. Add an epoxy sticker from the Kit. You have now finished the Kit instructions. But I thought it needed something more. So on to step 5. 5. Stamp the Big Day stamp with Crushed Curry ink on Whisper White card stock. Cut around the edges with scissors or your Paper Trimmer. I also edged this piece with a Crushed Curry Marker. Color in the Cake with your Pool Party Marker. Attach with Dimensionals.
1. Cut your Daffodil Delight card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Designer Series Paper at 4″ x 5-1/4″. and attach. You can also use half a card from the Paper Pumpkin Kit for this piece. 3. Stamp your “YOU” piece with the desired sentiment in Black ink. 4. Embroider the YOU using a Back stitch as explained in the Kit directions. Edge the card stock with a Crushed Curry Marker. Hold onto a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock and cut around the edges with about 1/8″ border around your embroidered piece. Attach these pieces together with Dimensionals. Put Dimensionals on the back layer. 5. Stamp your Cake stamp in Crushed Curry. Cut out around the edges. Color in the Cake word with your Crushed Curry Marker. Cut a Daffodil Delight mat as above with about 1/8″ border. Attach the two pieces with Dimensionals and put Dimensionals on the back layer. 6. Cut 3 Daffodil Delight Stars with the Itty Bitty Accents Star Punch. Attach to the back of the Star Shaped Epoxy Stickers. Attach one to the center of the “O” with a Dimensional. 7. Lay out all the pieces in the desired positions. Remove Dimensional Backings and attach. Attach the Stars with Tombow Glue or Glue Dots. 8. Cover the CAKE letters with Crystal Effects, if desired, and set aside to dry for a few hours.
9. Now you have another way to use your March Paper Pumpkin Kit.
The September 2014 Paper Pumpkin Kit is perfect for Halloween and Fall Treat Giving! Fill with the treats or small gift of you choice. As you can see, my treat is chocolate.
Video Time: less than 16 minutes
Paper Pumpkin Kits contain ALL the supplies to make the Project of the Month. Each month’s kit will include Instructions (which I forgot to show you in the video. The instructions are on the back of the picture.), Exclusive Stamps and at least 1 small ink pad. Your first kit will include a stamp block. You might need adhesive, scissors, and a bone folder to complete your projects. You can also step it up by adding your own supplies if you want. Some months I am really in the mood to do a lot with the Kits. Other months I just enjoy making the projects using the supplies provided. Take your pick or do some of each. Some people stick dinner in the oven and escape to their craft room and complete their projects while dinner is cooking!

You can also get even more creative and add your own supplies to make your project your own. High-quality supplies are included in the Kit. The quality of the supplies and projects are constantly improving, in my opinion. So if you tried Paper Pumpkin last year, the quality has vastly improved since the beginning of this year.
Here is a card I made with the May Paper Pumpkin Kit. It came with everything I need to make 4 cards – including Dimensionals. The tags on the front are really stickers and self-adhesive. There are 5 photopolymer stamps included in the Kit including Happy Father’s Day – which I will be using on my Father’s Day cards.
The May 2014 Paper Pumpkin Kit is designed for guys and includes a Happy Father’s Day and Happy Birthday stamps. It even comes with all the adhesive you need! This card is fun to make and I really like the way it looks. The large tags are self-adhesive and pre-cut so you just peel and apply to your card front. I did tweak my card as usual. I left off the little tag and wrapped the Baker’s Twine around the label instead of wrapping it around the top of the card.

These cute and sturdy bags are the most recent Paper Pumpkin Project I received. There are quick and easy to make and come with plenty of letters to spell lots of words. It took me about 10 minutes to make one bag-and that included opening the package and figuring out what to do! I did need to use Dimensionals and Glue Dots. I have enjoyed all but 1 of the kits in the last year.
Would you like your own Creative Kit in the mail every month? You can easily skip a month or two if you need to, so you don’t have to worry. Everything is included except adhesives. Sign up for YOUR OWN Paper Pumpkin subscription today! If you sign up by March 31, 2014 you will get a FREE package of In Color Stampin’ Write Markers with your Welcome Kit!
This Scrapbook Album is another Paper Pumpkin project. It comes with 8 wooden people, 3 Binder Rings, chipboard front and back covers, 4 solid color tabbed dividers, 8 pages in 4 different patterned papers, and 1 memorbilia bag. All pages and covers have 3 punched holes. The front cover has the words “Real Life” that you can easily punch out if desired. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE FRONT COVER: 1. I did not want a plain chipboard cover so I use the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper #132994 to put on the front cut to 5″ x 8″. I put it behind the cover and traced the letters with a pen. I cut the letters out with Paper Snips. I used Tombow Multipurpose Glue to adhere the Designer Series Paper to the front cover putting thin glue lines around the edges, holes, and letters, and some in the center. 2. I chose a wood person for each of my grandchildren. I used the word bubble stamp that came with the Kit to stamp 3 word bubbles each in Strawberry Slush and Island Indigo. I then wrote each child’s name in the coordinating Marker. I used Tombow to adhere the wood people and the word bubbles. 3. I will be adding pictures of my grandchildren taken since November to the pages. I will use 1 Tab per month for November, December, January, and February. There are lots of die cuts with sayings and stickers on to embellish the pages. The back of each patterned page has lines on for Journaling.
Have you been wondering what Paper Pumpkin is? My Paper Pumpkin is a monthly Craft Kit you get in the mail and includes everything you need to make the project except adhesive. I am behind in posting some of my Paper Pumpkin projects. Here is one that was meant for Christmas. The other side of the big Tag says “Noel”. Since I just made these cards Saturday, I did not keep with the Christmas theme and used some of my other stamps and tools. There were plenty of Dimensionals included in the Kit for me to be my usual “Dimensional Queen” self! I will let you know above each card the extra things I used that were not in the Kit. Yes, the little stars came stitched together already. A Real Red Stampin’ Spot (1″ ink pad) came with the Kit. I did use Glue Dots to attach a few of the stars in each strand.
Note: Sale-a-bration items are FREE until March 31, 2014 with a $50 purchase from My Online Store. Sale-a-bration item numbers can only be used after your product total reaches $50.
