1. This is a Center Step Landscape Card using a full sheet of 8-1/2″ x 11″ card stock. The Template above uses 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card stock. I did change the measurements so they were in good proportions for this larger card. The bottom is 1-1/2″ and the side widths are also 1-1/2″. Remember to NOT score across the entire bottom!
2. I made the Sleeve bars by punching 6 Basic Black Word Windows. I then inserted one end into the corner of a square punch to make the point. I measured the Word Window height and cut a strip of the Brushed Gold card stock slightly wider. I freehand cut these points. I tried it with a punch, but I had a lot of problems. (Probably because this card required a lot of thinking to get the design I wanted.)
3. The Pacific Point “collar” is 1″ deep. I marked the center and drew lines on the back of the card stock and then cut them out.
4. Enjoy! I hope you enjoy this Graduation Card which hopefully shows how proud I am of my Son!
